Alice,
I've thought about getting some of your article bundles in the past (I'm sure they are awesome).
The one thing I can't get past is the Google duplicate content factor.
You have probably addressed this issue in the past and I missed it.
So, if X number of people get the same bundle and use them on their sites/blogs - how does it pan out in Google?
Thanks - Robert
Hi Robert, I'll go ahead and answer cause I think Alice is on her way to the Big Seminar ;-)
We keep our membership numbers low so you won't find the content all over the net. We also have a free video for members showing them how to use the content to avoid these issues.
You can give an article your own intro paragraph and closing for a more personal touch but it also helps if you're worried about duplicate content.
Now I have to add that both Alice and I have used PLR content "as is" on our websites without any duplicate content penalties but if you're concerned it takes a few minutes to change a few things around.
Also, we now offer our research bundles for this purpose. You get a list of tips and then easily create your own unique article around those tips. This is for people who want a more personal touch to their articles and are also concerned about duplicate content.
Overall, I feel and I believe Alice does as well, a website is valued for it's overall content and value to the customers. I have a very high ranking site which has a mixture of both original and duplicate content... but it's really up to the individual and what they're comfortable with.
I hope this helps!
I'm still here, but getting ready! In addition to adding to the content, you can change it around, use only snippets or whatever you'd like.
Also, not all content needs to be for search engines. You can have content that you simply wish to share with your loyal readers, may want to send in an email, add to a report or ebooks, etc.
Hope that helps and thanks for your great question!
Great points. Thanks for the input Mila and Alice.
;-) Robert
