Big Seminar Update - It's Amazing What Laughter Can Do
Well, of course I'm incredibly impressed by Armand Morin's BigSeminar (I'm here in LA right now!). I got to meet in person finally:
> My fellow hot mama in biz Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero
> Sweet and super smart Alexandria Brown
> The very kind & brilliant John Reese (& handsome too, single ladies!)
And I've met plenty of other great people I plan to keep in touch with, but as I'm reflecting on the first day and a half, the thing I remember the most is the LAUGHTER. I don't know when I've laughed so much, especially in a business setting. Many of the speakers have incorporated a whole lot of humor into their presentations and I think I may have peed my pants once or twice.
From Declan Dunn's brilliant wit...to Jim Edward's off the wall humor...to the wild and zany Marlon Sanders (I had a chance to speak to Marlon at a networking party and boy did I learn a lot of crazy things about him!)
Anyway, these guys really drove home the need to be happy, not to take ourselves too seriously and really enjoy what we're doing. If business isn't fun, maybe we shouldn't be in business.

Right on Alice!
I am rereading Think and Grow Rich right now and thinking about these ideas.
If it isn't fun, we probably won't stick with it, and if we aren't having fun, people won't be attracted to our message or our products or what have you.
I eagerly look forward to the full, unabridged, BigSeminar update...
... and did you buy John that beer from me (the one that you own me) ;)
Carrie -- We just got a copy of Think & Grow Rich at the seminar. I haven't read it before, but will probably go through it on the plane today.
Of course, I bought the beer for him. But if I gave you the unabridged version of what happened at the BigSeminar, I'd have to kill you, Andre. Ha ha! If I can remember everything...I'll give a report very soon. ;)
