Did You Miss It?
I hope you had a chance to tune into Jeff Walker's "Social Proof" call last week. The lines were packed, so many people couldn't get on and there were some technical difficulties at the beginning of the call (go figure!)...but the content was superb.
You can go here and download the recording directly:

Feel free to leave your comments and questions on the call. It was great 100% content and I'd love to chat about it.

Hey Alice.. thanks for the link to the Social Proof Call!!
It was MIND-BLOWING!
Thanks a ton!
Alice this call was great...but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to apply this information in my business. I would LOVE it if you would do a quick "Idiot's Guide to Social Proof" Report. LOL!I have much to learn about marketing...
Pretty please? ;)
Thanks for the feedback and well wishes. Carrie, do you sell any of your own products? If you don't, I've applied a lot of Jeff's techniques to my affiliate marketing. I took his Product Launch Workshop earlier this year and it was very applicable to what I was doing with other people's products.
Let me know what you're selling (your products or somebody else's). I might come up with a report that shows how affiliate marketers can use social proof.
I listened to the call for a bit and then had to hang up but listened to the mp3 a couple days ago and the information shared was fabulous. I, too, am trying to figure out how to apply all this great info to my direct sales business...specifically with sharing the business with others, but also with the product, etc. so it's going to take some brainstorming to make the applications but it sure is fun.
It's so funny now that I'm more aware of this whole "social proof" thing that I see myself following it left and right. This weekend alone I fell "victim" to it over and over again and just giggled when I realized it either as I was participating or afterward when I had that slap on the head moment of "there I go again".
I'll be eager to hear how much Jeff's package will run and I understand he has a video out now with that information...so off I go with the masses to check it out!
Looking forward to hearing more of how you applied this specifically, Alice!
Thanks for the comments, Annette.
Ask and you shall receive. I am working on a report you should be able to download tomorrow and I'll have some ideas on how this applies to all kinds of business.
To anyone who's reading this (Annette -- you too), if you tell me TODAY what you sell...I will include some ideas for you in tomorrow's special report. Today is October 18, 2005, by the way. ;-)
CHANGE OF PLANS - I'll have the report ready for Thursday. Some family stuff came up.
If you want to post the products/oportunity that you are selling by the end of tomorrow (October 19)...I can include some suggestions in the report. ;-)
That's a great offer, Alice. I mostly sell affiliate products. I sell baby items and some health products too.
Hi Alice,
Great information. How can I apply social proof to my copywriting business. I don't sell a physical product, but services.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Lorraine

Hi Alice, I got through the first part of the recording and still going through the 2nd part as Carrie says the info is fabulous but how to apply?
Like Lorraine, I have a service - web conferencing software/service and I have no idea how to go about social proofing it :-)
Also, how would one apply it to affiliate marketing?
Hi Alice.
Yes, how to apply it is definately the question of the day. As an insurance broker, it's been quite a stretch to take a traditional business and turn it into a virtual business. Without a "product", I'm strictly selling a service, a promise to pay in the event of an unfortunate incident.
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this one.
