Alice, I like that you're asking for your reader's help in determining content for future PLRs. Do you find that people are generally willing to answer the survey?
Hi Mara - that is often the challenge. We offered the free "quick reference sheet" as a bit of incentive and that certainly helps.
We actually did two surveys - with essentially the same questions and incentives. One went to our existing customers and the other to general public. As you can imagine, the response from customers was greater and to date we have double the response from customers.
Out of our current client numbers, more than 25% responded (which I think is pretty good!). We also polled expired members and the over all response rate was just under 20%.
I think it's important to keep your surveys simple, make sure it doesn't take up too much of their time and give them a little something as a thank you.
