How to Find Profitable Keyword Lists
After reviewing the stats of some of my mom-targeted websites, I had this idea on finding profitable keyword lists. I'm not trying to offend anyone by what I say, but if you've ever had pages on your site related to moms in anyway, there are some pretty dirty and non-family-friendly keywords that seem to pop-up.
I have tons of seemingly untapped (because I'm certainly not optimizing for them) keywords in my logs. It would make sense for some of these adult sites to try to approach these mom website owners and pay for the lists. These are keywords they'd probably never find through their own traditional keyword searches.
And no, mama, if you have mom-targeted blog, I'm not suggesting you sell off your dirty keyword lists...I'm just making a comment that there are other possibilities for keyword research than we may have thought of.
What off-topic keyword lists do you have in your web logs, whatever your topic, and how could you possibly use these to your advantage?

My feeling is that as internet moms we need every tool at our disposal to create income! When maximizing the income from our Keyword Lists, it seems that it would be smart to utilize the untapped portion of the lists as you said, and turn it into income, a no-brainer. If the market is there for these type list sales, it would seem that we would be crazy not to use it, even if it did include an occasional adult website buyer or whomever. My thinking is that some of these sites might also be capable of providing better income from the Keyword Lists! At the end of the day, we all are in business to utilize our resources, tapped AND Untapped. Alice, in the case you addressed above, how would we go about researching prospective buyers of our Keyword Lists?
I'm getting a bunch of "mattress cleaning" search traffic to my Internet marketing blog.
I had no idea before I started getting that traffic that people even cleaned mattresses.
I guess I lived a pretty underprivileged life growing up.
I have gotten some really strange ones. Ones that stick out are pink toe nail fetish, nude wallpapering and some that make oh god I have icky people looking at my blog.
Many strange ones and I am like huh why would you even think of that. :)
I've had some very dirty words and phrases show up and plenty of them. I'd love to know where I could sell them and benefit from it instead of WASTING them as a resource!
I came across this Hilariously Funny video which sums this up pretty well! It's called " Internet is for Porn - Google Video ". Be warned it's probably adult content but not x-rated and Very Funny-ENJOY!
